Before you totally write me off as illiterate, you should know I just like to make up my own language.  In this case, we’re flying to MS tomorrow for our nephew’s high school graduation so Thursday is basically my Friday work-wise.

One of my favorite trends from last season is back in a huge way this year—Maxidresses!  I love the stylish silhouette of these dresses- and the fact that you don’t have to remember to shave your legs to wear them!  I embraced the long trend in skirt form today with this great piece I scored from Target.  It’s also worth mentioning the fun shoes I scored at Nordstrom Rack last season- the beaded back is awesome!

I love Thursday’s because it’s power yoga lunch day—it’s also my crazy, 2 class day because who can resist evening pilates with a friend?  So those were my workouts for the day- an hour of the sweatiest yoga I think I’ve ever done outside a Bikram class and an hour of mat Pilates.  I’ve really been enjoying cross-training and hope to keep it up once I start running more again.  I’m trying to give myself time to develop these good habits before really upping the miles again so we’ll see.
