Again, delayed posting- week 3 was August 29-Sept 4th.
So I didn’t exactly stick to the plan this week, but really enjoyed my workouts and having friends to train with throughout the week (hence the double on Wednesday). What can I say? I’m a sucker for training with friends. I was especially happy with my brick on Sunday given the heat and humidity that are still plaguing TX. B has been great about doing my recovery bricks with me on Sundays so it’s been nice to have a little extra time with him. He’s never ridden with me before this training cycle so it’s truly a fun treat to have him along for the rides. It also helps keep my pace where it should be for these rides rather than where I would likely ride on my own.
Does anyone else struggle with “Zone 2” workouts?
