I got a comment the other day from Kayla letting me know about her ABC’s of Style challenge.  They are about 1/2 through the challenge already, and I don’t know if I’ll jump on board for the rest of the alphabet, but as I was trying to come up with an outfit this morning, I remembered today was M is for Monochromatic.  Hmm, I can work with that.  This shirt is one of my favorites, and I knew the skirt was a similar hue.  Add a chunky necklace for some visual interest and BAM! instant outfit.

What are your thoughts on monochromatic looks?

Wow! This is a perfect monochromatic outfit. Great job! I’m jealous of your burst of color. Thanks for linking up to the ABCs.

This is really cute! That color is really flattering on you! 🙂

  3. Laura says:

I’m always inspired by these posts!! I’m too much of a dress for comfort girl, but I love checking out your tips! 🙂

  4. You know, if I had read the question about what I thought about monochromatic looks first, I would have said that I wasn’t a fan. But this outfit rocks, I love it!

  5. I love purple. Sadly I don’t have a similar color purple top and bottom. I typically only go monochromatic with more neutral colors. Unless it’s a dress. Otherwise I rarely have top and bottom that match!

I wish you would take me shopping!

  6. I love the purple with the pop of color from your necklace. Great look!
